Share Your Concerns: SEC PF Rule Proposals

NSCP would like to hear your concerns on the SEC’s rule proposals for Private Fund Advisers

The SEC’s recent rule proposal and amendments under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 to enhance private fund investor protection will have an impact on compliance programs. Firms may require additional human and technology resources to comply with the requirements of the rules. In addition, the requirement of written documentation of an adviser’s annual review of its compliance program may put added pressure and unforeseen consequences on CCOs.

NSCP will be commenting on the proposed rules. Members are invited to share their compliance concerns and the potential impact the rules may have on their compliance programs so that NSCP can address them in the comment letter.

Comments can be made via NSCP’s Member Voice portal. All submissions are anonymous.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
