Director, Financial Security Programs

This is a position within the Financial Security Compliance Group of the Compliance Department of Amundi US, Inc. (the “Firm”). The primary functions of the position are:
Support the various compliance programs of Amundi’s Global and Americas’ regions, monitoring and analyzing the Firm’s financial security activities as well as the compliance control environments in support of regulatory compliance.
Provide additional support to the corporate compliance function by developing, maintaining and administering periodic risk assessments and control measurements of assigned business activities, including risk asessments and control measure reporting required by Credit Agricole and Amundi Group Compliance Business Lines.
Provide subject matter expertise and liaise with the businesses and staff of the U.S. operations, Amundi Paris, Canada, and LatAm regions, as well as Credit Agricole in support of Amundi US’ compliance operations, primarily on financial security (AML, client KYC, and sanctions programs), as well as other regulatory matters / inquiries.
Collaborate with global compliance colleagues on various regulatory initiatives (regulatory engagements, exams, consultant engagements, etc.) as needed, and support periodic audit preparations in support of achieving zero-incident audit outcomes on the effectiveness of our financial security and other compliance programs.
Provide subject matter expertise to business, peers, and global colleagues on AML, sanctions, fraud and compliance risk matters arising within the U.S. business perimeter.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Firm’s compliance with its various compliance obligations in areas related to financial security, which includes Anti Money Laundering, Sanctions Program monitoring (U.S. E.U. LatAm, and CAN), anti-bribery and corruption, anti-fraud, and privacy laws. Additional support to the corporate compliance programs of the adviser and distributor functions is expected, as needed. This includes creating and maintaining procedural documentation, activity monitoring, management reporting, and systems testing, as warranted. A significant portion of this position will be spent on data gathering, as well as developing, maintaining, administering and preparing presentationsof Group compliance activities and control reporting to various stakeholders with Amundi and Credit Agricole.
Financial Security Program Administration:
Provides coverage to daily and periodic compliance activities that ensure the Firm’s financial security processes maintain ongoing compliance with U.S. and related E.U. regulations. This includes:
Provide guidance to Amundi US staff (including client services, investments, legal, and vendor support functions) with regulatory interpretation and training on questions relating to compliance policy.
Liaise with regional offices and counterparties within Amundi on mutual compliance obligations, supporting Paris, Canada, and LatAm regions with questions related to U.S. AML, sanctions programs and other financial security regulations, as well as Amundi policies and practices.
Participate in the completion of ongoing Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessments and reporting standards, such as quarterly CASA reports, routine Paris financial security metrics, and annual routines, designed to capture business metrics, trends, and emerging risks.
Responsible for the ongoing creation / maintenance of the Compliance Risk Assessment Framework (CAF) and controls assessments for the Amundi US business perimeters. Support the creation and presentment of these assessments to CACIB, CASA and Amundi, as needed.
Support periodic management reporting at the Amundi US, Amundi Home Office and Credit Agricole level, as needed. This may include conducting interviews and reviews with business units to assess existing and emerging risks to non-compliance with obligations, as well as compilation of data metrics in support of quarterly controls reporting, quarterly compliance risk assessments, and periodic presentations related to compliance programs and financial security topics, etc.
Support CCO and corporate compliance programs with regulatory matters in scope of job function
Participate in quarterly Compliance Committee meetings, as called upon
Effectively analyze new and emerging risks and regulations pertaining to financial security and ably evaluate how those risks and regulations affect our business model, activities, and clients. Articulate in a precise manner the estimated materiality of such impacts to our business.
Define control and remediation changes to policies, as warranted, to ensure ongoing compliance.
Propose and develop business process and policy changes, as needed and in response to regulation changes.
Compliance Risk Framework Administration:
Support to the US Compliance Business Line function by developing, maintaining and administering periodic risk assessments and control measurements of assigned business activities, including risk asessments and control measure reporting required by Credit Agricole and Amundi Group Compliance Business Lines.
Additional Responsibilities:
Provide compliance assistance to business units with their financial security reporting obligations: client services division among the Americas’ regions, Corporate and Investment Risk, portfolio investments, legal, and H.R. and vendor governance.
Create and maintain “desktop” procedures to assist in the training and documentation of the financial security program’s obligations.
Present to senior management locally and corporately, on our U.S. financial security program activities, as called upon. Other assignments and special projects as directed by management.
