You will be mentored by senior professionals but also entrusted with significant client responsibilities and afforded substantial autonomy to complete your work. Together with a firm Partner, you will be responsible for leading client engagements and mentoring junior professionals. You will work on site and remotely and have the opportunity to build your leadership, client management, and relationship skills.

Typical client projects include: (1) Regulatory risk assessments; (2) Policy and procedure design, re-design and implementation; (3) New product line development; (4) Examination support and preparation; (5) on-going compliance support; and (6) Post-exam remediation.

Responsibilities

- Managing clients and projects including defining scope, creating project plans, executing projects, analyzing results, designing solutions and preparing deliverables.

- Gaining an in depth understanding of clients’ businesses and regulatory risks and design solutions to mitigate risk while facilitating the client’s current business processes.

- Supporting clients in creation of policies, procedures, processes and disclosures designed to facilitate their business.

- Provide on-going compliance services to clients including support of compliance software platforms, completion of testing, annual compliance reviews, and preparation of annual regulatory filings.

- Play a key leadership role inside the firm in building infrastructure, hiring and mentoring staff.

- Participate in development of new business.

Skills and Experience

-Undergraduate degree required; MBA/JD/LLM or graduate degree preferred.

- 5-8 years of professional experience in compliance consulting, management consulting, fund investing, auditing, operational due diligence, or at a regulator.

- Strong knowledge of the financial markets, private capital markets, private funds, regulatory infrastructure and risk management.

- Entrepreneurial, self-driven attitude with the ability to work with minimal direction and structure.

- Client-service orientation with the ability to work on and lead teams.

- Strong interpersonal skills.

- Exceptional organizational skills demonstrated through work experience.

- Executive level presence and communication skills.

- Familiarity of Investment Advisers Act, Investment Company Act, Exchange Act and Securities Act a plus.
