Here at Luminis Health, we’ve created an integrated health system that’s designed to meet our patients changing needs with new services and more locations for quality care. We’re looking for an expert-level compliance leader to join us in overseeing all federal and state requirements across the system.
Reporting to General Counsel & Chief Legal Officer, CEO and Board of Trustees the duties will include:
Developing and implementing a formal compliance program that manages risk and protects our legal interests.
Staying current with all federal and state laws, rules and regulations and serving as counsel to the executive leadership team.
Leading a team of risk management and compliance professionals, including compliance officers for all Luminis Health entities.
Directing privacy, billing, internal audit, and other system-wide policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
Overseeing reporting and documentation activities, identifying gaps and trends, measuring compliance program performance, and more.
We seek a collaborative leader with demonstrated good judgment who is able to build systemwide relationships. This high-visibility role requires a champion for change, who can deploy innovative and creative approaches to build consensus. A deep understanding of the local and national healthcare industry is a must, as is the ability to grow and encourage a team of top performers.
Necessary qualifications include a JD, an MBA, or master’s degree in a healthcare-related field, along with 10+ years of increasingly complex management experience in a healthcare setting. Experience must include 10 years in corporate compliance management. Proven data analytics skills and expert knowledge of healthcare system risk assessment and management are also essential. Certification in Health Care Compliance and/or a Graduate Certificate in Health Care Compliance preferred.
